Hello. I’m Sterling and, if I wasn’t in this line of work, I’d probably be trying to forge a career in comedy or as a writer. All I want to do, everyday, is solve problems, tell stories, and make people laugh. I figure that, as a designer, you can do a bit of all three.

I was born and raised in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado, spent my summers visiting family in England, and now live in the UK.

I see everything as a design opportunity–from wayfinding in an airport, to a ticketing system interface, to a dating profile. Whenever I run in to a suboptimal system, my hands and brain get itchy with the desire to design something that works better.
